    Ten young people from Herefordshire are designing a garden as part of the forthcoming RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010. The young people from SHYPP (Supported housing for Young People Project) have designed a garden entitled ‘Drug Scene –‘how toxic are you?’. This will feature in the “Places of Change” Garden, the biggest-ever show garden in the history of the world-famous event.     SHYPP will shortly be launching a new, temporary, service specifically aiming to reduce the number of young people living in B&B accommodation. SHYPP hope to launch this provision at the end of January 2010

    Through the Foyer Federation, the young people at SHYPP have been successful in securing a small grant to start a small social enterprise selling charity cards. SHYPP’s Working Assets programme aims to create an enterprising business that raises the profile of young people who have experienced homelessness or struggled to hold down a job.
